I showed up early for the Lykke Li showcase at Ninety Proof. Only a few people were there, which shocked me. This was a tiny venue that can hold maybe 100 people, but only about 40 people can can really see the stage. As the band was setting up, I stood near the stage to make sure I had a good view. All of a sudden the crowd poured in and I was in the front of a capacity crowd. This is why SXSW is so awesome. Lykke Li has a gorgeous voice, knows how to entertain, and already has two incredible songs in her repertoire. I posted a video of one of those two songs previously. Here's the other one.



The shoes she was wearing looked incredibly uncomfortable.
