Free Pompeii Show Tonight
Even though no one reads this blog, I am going to make it my random dump of Austin music news in between SXSW festivals. Tonight, Pompeii and Cassette are playing a free show at the hipster bar known as Beauty Bar. I don't know much about Cassette, but Pompeii is an up and coming Austin band that I wish I could buy stock in. They have a new album coming out in a few weeks that is sure to please, and early comparisons to deathcab are not undeserved. Show starts around 11 pm and the party should go until they turn on the "get the hell out" lights.
