Diamonds in the Rough
I've listened to about a third of the SXSW MP3's so far. It's been a pretty rough listen with all the country, bluegrass, heavy metal, terrible punk, and unoriginal rap, but I did find a few good ones in there.- Ever We Fall -- reminds me of Early November
- Great Lake Swimmers -- Banjo minus bluegrass plus indie style equals awesome.
- HelloGoodbye -- Fun, poppy, guilty pleasure
- June -- I'm a sucker for whiny emo, what can I say.
- Silversun Pickups -- Please, please, please go listen to "Kissing Families". Why is this song not in heavy rotation on college indie radio?
